EasySonic or EasySonic II Automatic distance control EasySonic II recognize the distance of the user to the monitor surface!This is a use ful feature to reduce the brightness of the back light if no user is in front of the monitor. Few seconds after the user leaves the front of the monitor reduce the monitor the brightness to 10% or more if you like of the standard brigtness. this extends the life time of the back light and save maintenance cost and spare parts!
